October has arrived, Canadian Thanksgiving is this weekend and American Thanksgiving is not far off.

There’s something so fun about fall – as the weather gets cooler and the days get shorter, it’s the perfect time for apple picking, haunted hayrides, pumpkin carving and pumpkin spice everything!

If you’re out enjoying the fall colours and other forest activities this season, don’t be surprised if you catch a glimpse of one of our Forest Buddies in their natural habitat!

Frederick Buddy Fox

Frederick is one fabulous looking fox! With a luxurious coat, fuzzy snout, perky ears and piercing green eyes, you’ll be lucky to catch a glimpse of this sly fellow.

Like all of our Buddies, embroidering Frederick Buddy Fox is a breeze. Just unzip the hidden zipper on his backside and remove the stuffing pods to make hooping and embroidery easy. When your creative work is done, replace the stuffing pods and re-zip for a flawless finish.

Edward Elk Buddy

Edward Elk Buddy is a perfectly unique forest creature! His bright round eyes and fuzzy antlers help him stand out from the crowd. The fact that Edward’s soft coat is three different shades of brown makes him quite the striking fellow! His cream coloured belly offers lots of room for special embroidered messages.

Here’s a fun fact about Edward Elk Buddy – have you heard the story about how he came to life? He was created through the inspirations of Barbara from Rather B Embroidery, one of our most loyal customers!

Mason Moose Buddy

Just like Edward Elk, Mason Moose is quite the majestic Buddy! While real moose can stand at over two meters tall, Mason (like all of our Forest Buddies) is 16” – the perfect size for a fuzzy companion.

Mason’s flat pile belly makes embroidery easy – get creative with fall designs or a cute expression to help him celebrate the season, like Sweater weather or Pumpkin spice and everything nice!

Have you met Mason’s friend Moose Squishy Buddy? 

You’re likely to find him in the forest as well.  He’s delightful and squishy, just perfect for hugging. Like all of our buddies, self-contained stuffing pods for the head and belly are removable through a hidden zipper on the bottom of the moose making hooping and embroidery easy on any embroidery machine. Moose Squishy Buddy is available in a 16” Junior and 22” Jumbo size!
