Embroider Buddy® was once again across the pond at the end of February, attending the Printwear & Promotion Live show in Birmingham, England. It was a fantastic few days reconnecting with people who I met last year and meeting many Facebook friends that I’ve connected with in the past year.
For many visitors to our booth, it was the first time they’ve seen an Embroider Buddy® in person. Their excitement and enthusiasm was wonderful and many people commented that the buddies look even better ‘in real life’. There was no shortage of hugs for our buddies!
My heart was warmed with the excitement and sentiments about the launch of the new Embroider Buddy® Clara Classic Collection, in honour of my late mother. Current and new customers were wowed by the collection and expressed that they are “gorgeous”, “so soft” and “massive”. Anyone who touched one of these buddies would hardly let them go!
I must also acknowledge the joy and pleasure of working with Menno and Maureen Kaper from G&B Personal Gift Co. They wasted no time heading to Birmingham right after the TecStyle Visions show in Stuttgart, Germany, promising another fantastic show. They designed and made the most fabulous looking booth, and are already thinking about going even bigger next year.
We were also fortunate to have the talented, high energy and fun Kerry Henry helping out this year. I finally got to share a few Baileys with her – cheers!
After the show, I took a side trip to London and brought along Parker Pug. It was a nice way to wind down after a successful and busy month of tradeshows. I am so pleased with the feedback we’ve received at both shows in February and am looking forward to continuing a wonderful year of new products and new friends.
Were you at this year’s show? What was your biggest takeaway?
