Here at Embroider Buddy®, we’re always meeting with other creative minds about embroidery projects, ideas and solutions. From bloggers, to groups, to small and big businesses, it’s wonderful to connect with other embroiderers. Recently, our interest was sparked by Embroidery SoupTM, an embroidery design site headed up by Sarah Straughn. Many of Sarah’s designs have been featured on industry magazine covers and she's won numerous awards for her design and digitizing skills.
So, we took the opportunity to partner with Embroidery SoupTM to design and digitize exclusive embroidery charms that are available free with the purchase of Embroider Buddy® stuffed animals. These beautiful charms are another way to make it even easier to add a little flair and creativity to your next Embroider Buddy® project.
Animals and Holidays: A Few Examples of Embroider Buddy® Charms
We’ve launched with dozens of designs suitable for many of our buddies. More are still being designed so there will be charms for all the buddies in the future.
Check out the adorable options for our popular Buster Dog, or the newest charm designs for Pendrick Penguin and Buddy Bunny.
With the holidays approaching, Embroidery Soup has added designs for Sonny Snowman, and festive Randy Reindeer! These would make great gifts for the little ones at Christmas.
In addition to these designs, other free designs will be available, such as the “You Are My Sunshine” and “Nite Nite” designs that aren’t specific to an Embroider Buddy® stuffed animal. They may be used with any products from the Embroider Buddy® collection. Check back regularly, even after you’ve downloaded the companion charm, as you may be surprised to see even more charm designs!

To create free-motion machine embroidery, the embroiderer runs the machine and skillfully moves tightly hooped fabric under the needle to create a design. The operator lowers or covers the “feed dogs” or machine teeth and moves the fabric manually.
